Form C Registration


It is an other common name of firm registration which is called Form C Registration. The Registrar of Firms registers this certificate i.e. Firm C Registration in every district of Pakistan and is done under Partnership Act 1932.

Presently firms are being registered by City District Government throughout Pakistan. the documents required as well as process for Form C registration varies district wise, but the followings are the key requirements for Form C registration process in Pakistan.

Requirements for Form C Registration:

✓   Completed Application form (Form I)
✓   Attested Copy of Partnership Deed ( as per Partnership Act 1932)
✓   Attested Copy of CNIC of all partners
✓   Attested copy of CNIC of two witnesses
✓   Proof of Address (Rent Agreement)
✓   Covering Letter
✓   Appropriate Fee Challan (Deposit in NBP / SBP / Govt Treasury) or online payment via internet banking

Fulfill above requirement and submit the document in the office of registrar of firms in your local registration office. The whole process will take around 2 weeks, however, it maybe more time required, if any short fall of documents, hence, it is necessary to review all the documents.

Name of firm:
Name of the firm is very important before starting process for form c registration in Pakistan. Please confirm from department before preparation of documents otherwise face difficulty if your proposed name not available for registration.

Physically presence of Partners of firm:
Physically presence of partners of firms is compulsory to present physically to file the documents or give power of attorney or authority letter to consultants, lawyers.

CNIC of Partners:
A valid Computerized National Identity card (CNIC) of partners are compulsory for form c registration as well as CNIC of the witnesses.

Physical verification of documents:
In some cases, concerned officer marks physical verification of the premises to check the authenticity of the documents submitted with the application.

Rent Agreement:
Rent Agreement is compulsory for Firm Registration in many areas of Pakistan but it depends upon the desecration of the concerned officer.

Business Bank Account:
After registration of Form C, firm’s bank account is open, without registration of Form C, it is not possible to open business bank account of the firm.

Business Business NTN Number:
After Opening of Bank Account in any commercial bank, NTN number is applied in FBR office.
